Sara Rose Toth, passed away in her home with loved ones on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Sara (Sirvart) was born to Nishan and Virginia Harpootian, in Detroit, Michigan on October 20, 1934. Love of family, sports, and a passion for art & design guided and sustained this artist, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt throughout her life.
At age 50 she went back to school, and in 1991 earned a B.F.A. in art from the University of Michigan. After graduating she indulged her creativity and love of design and visual arts, sharing it with family and friends.
Travel, hiking, skiing, tennis & golf were among activities enjoyed with her husband, family & friends, throughout her well lived lifetime. It was good while it lasted. She hopes she will be remembered fondly by all.
