I remember Sheri from when we were teens. Our families vacationed together a few times to South Carolina. I’m very sorry for her loss. She was a great person.

We have so many great memories but the one that we will never forget was making scrambled eggs in a hotel room in Minneapolis at convention. No matter what we needed Bill and Sheri were always there to help and work. Bill is blessed to have had her in his life. Our hearts go out to him and their families. So sad for anyone who knew Sheri-she made the world a better place. She will never be forgotten. She is smiling down at us all now. RIP Sheri

Aunt Sheri made THE BEST chocolate chip cookies. Well, after several years of trying and getting tips from her about these delicious morsels of awesomeness that burst forth a symphony of flavorful delight, I just flat out asked her for the recipe. I made them that night; they were the best batch I’ve ever made. I followed her recipe exactly with ONE exception to the ingredient she usually uses. When I asked her about that ingredient, she said, “Yeah, you can use it. It should be fine!” I texted her immediately to thank her and she was pretty pleased. My husband, on the other hand, when I told him what I had done, immediately said, “Yeah, but does Sheri add that?” Haha. Nothing will ever top Aunt Sheri or her cookies, but I’m so blessed to have all those years’ worth of delicious cookies and stories with her surrounding them.
