

Trimper, Alice Madeline, age 92, of Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown and formerly of Bear River East, passed away December 20, 2022 in Digby General Hospital. Born on Monday, January 6, 1930 in Forest City, NB, she was a daughter of the late Enoch Peck and Ella (Lutz) Peck.
She had been named Volunteer of the Year and had volunteered for my organizations including Bear River Cherry Carnival. She was a very good seamstress and in earlier times made clothes for her family and also was a great baker.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Trimper; daughters, Terry Lynn ( Terry TJ) Leonard, Kim Handspiker, Karen Arbeau, Jill (Michael ) Wheatly, Michelle (Jim) Olmstead; brother, Orrin (Becky) Peck; sister, Joan (Don Wright); sister in law, Lillis Peck; grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Leonard, Greg Leonard, Magen and Paige Handspiker, Desiree (Mike) Dube, Victor (Robin) Arbeau, Lisanne (Jared) Arbeau, Keigan “The Boy” Trimper –Wheatly, Katelynn Olmstead, Adrian Arbeau (Rachael) and 13 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willis Trimper; son in laws, Vernon Handspiker, Jack Arbeau; great grandson, Jaren Allen Titus Arbeau; brothers, Howard, Enoch Jr. Peck; sisters, Daisy in infancy, Dorothy MacNichol and Martha Bourassa.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm, on Wednesday, December 28 from Jayne’s Funeral Home 15 Birch St. Digby. Funeral service will be held 1Pm , Thursday December 29, from the Bear River East Baptist. Rev.
