We are sorry that we were not able to attend Alice's service. She was a special person who never liked to go anywhere empty handed and was never happier than when surrounded by family and friends and 
feeding them. I especially remember the time I was sick and she and Lil arrived with complete meals and big smiles. She loved any event involving Trimper Family Reunion. You are blessed by memories of Alice and Willis. Our sympathy is with you all. June and Wendell

She was always one of my favorite ladies to talk to. I remember her big smiles. Condolences to all her family and friends as I know she had many. Rest in peace with Willis.

My heart goes out to the family today. Your mother was a mum to all of us. She welcomed you in to her home with smiles and food and often baked bread and goodies for me. She had that true maritme spirit that says what's mine is yours. It seems to have rubbed off as the spirit of generosity is alive and well in the Trimper gang.  And how she survived the antics of the gang is just another measure of her compassionate nature. What a lady, she will be missed. 

Our deepest sympathy to all the family.  We have many great memories of our time spent with Alice and Willis. Alice a very special lady who always saw the good in everyone and everything.  She always looked on the bright side.  Anytime we went anywhere the first question was where are going for lunch. So many good times and I will miss her dearly.  Rest easy my friend.

Alice was a very lovely lady.  Alice and Willis used to come to visit my mother Lottie Porter quite often.   They would enjoy their visit with her.  She will be missed.

I am so sorry to read of Aunt Alice’s passing. She was such a happy, witty lady. I loved seeing her pictures from the nursing home. She looked very happy and content. Many years ago Aunt Alice and Uncle Willis( as they were always known to us even though they were cousins, or Aunt Ass and  Uncle Wis as Dan could not say their names when he was little) were over for a visit and they gave me a white turtle neck for my birthday. I don’t remember any other birthday gifts I received as a little girl but that has always stuck in my mind and oh how I loved it. We always loved it when Nova Scotia folk were over for a visit. My fondest memory of Alice, and there were many, was my first visit to Nova Scotia. She was wanting to do some painting and I was there in their beautiful, welcoming home. So I pitched in and after about 15 minutes, turned to her and said, Is it lunchtime yet? She laughed that wonderful laugh and gave me that wonderful smile.  I have loved her since. She was a generous, brave person who loved her family fiercely.  I am sorry.
