He started his working career as a commercial fisherman. Alvin became a Master Mariner, while in the Oil industry with Trans Ocean mainly off the coast of Africa until 2014. He loved hunting, four wheeling being back to the lake and trout fishing from his boat. Alvin would rock in his rocking chair singing songs that you may or may not have heard of. He had the biggest heart touching the lives of many and was always willing to cook a big meal feeding anyone that would drop by. Alvin loved his family especially his grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by the love of his life; wife, Bonnie; daughters, Melissa (Anthony), Kristy (Kary), Nicole (Shawn); son, Mathew (Julie); sisters, Lisa (Blake), Lori; brothers, Wilfie (Debbie), Jerry (Tammy) ; grandchildren, Carter, Landon, Ryker, Lennox and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father Alvin was predeceased by brother, Dean. Special thank you to EHS, Jayne’s Care team and Dr. Harding for their compassion and care.
