VanTassel, Audrey Jean- Age 88 passed away September 24th, 2014 in Digby General Hospital. She was born in Digby a daughter of the late Ainsley and Dora Handspiker. Audrey was a kind, caring and compassionate person and a loving mother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Audrey is survived by her husband, Cecil Ray VanTassel; daughters, Cheryl (Paul) Hughes, Ontario and Heather VanTassel, Jamica; grandchildren, Karen Catenacci, Brenda Hughes, Randy Hughes, Kimberley Stewart, Shawn Johnson; great-grandchildren, Preston Catenacci, Alexandria Stewart and Cameron Stewart. Audrey was predeceased by son, David VanTassel and daughter, Gail Johnson. Funeral service will be 10am, Monday September 29th at Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby (245-2525) with visitation from 9:00am – 9:50am prior to the service. Rev.
