Barton, Beatrice Mary, age 90 of Jordantown, passed away December 28, 2024 at home. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Estella Miller. She was a member of the Acaciaville Baptist Church and was busy in the community organizing events such as Christmas concerts for the church, Harvest Supper and other different events within the community. She was also a member of the Betterment Society of Jordantown. She is survived by her daughters, Rena (Merton) Hameister, Alberta, Rhonda (Patrick) Spencer, Digby; sister, Yvonne Miller, Montreal; and 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd; daughter, Florence; sons, Floyd and Melvin; brothers, James and Ernest; sisters, Phyllis, Janie and Rae. Special thanks to Rhonda Spencer, Lois Barton, Sarah Barton, Todd Simms, Ben Elms, Darnell Miller and Belinda Addington for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has been entrusted to Jayne's Funeral Home, Digby. Burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Jordantown.
