

Mullen, Cecil Stanley – 84 of Riverdale passed away July 22, 2011. Born in Easton on August 7, 1926 Cecil was a son of the late Harold and Elsie Mullen. Cecil worked in Bear River logging where he met the love of his life Maisie (Spavold). Cecil then started his married life in Hilltown, where he worked for Hillsdale Fur Farm for 30 years. Cecil is survived by sisters, Stella and Ruth both of Easton, Gladys, Farmington, Missouri; brothers, Walter, Phippsburg, Maine; Edgar; Hary and Ronald, all of Easton; many nieces and nephews. Cecil is predeceased by his wife Maisie; sisters, Dorothy and Clara and brother, Robert “Bob”. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm Today from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North (245-2525) and from where funeral service will be 11am Tuesday. Pastor Peter Hayes will officiate with burial in Lakeside Cemetery, Havelock. Donations in Cecil’s memory can be made to the Havelock Wesleyan Church Building Fund.
