It is with heavy hearts that the family of Charlene Ann Walker announce her sudden
passing at home in Clementsport at the age of 57.
Charlene was born in North York, Ontario, the beloved daughter of David Godsoe and Muriel Murphy.
She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and many close friends—truly the glue that held everyone together. A pillar of the community, and proud member of Al-anon, Charlene was always available for a talk, a true listening ear to all she loved, a person who never judged, and always made you feel better with her comforting words, and bible quotes. She held her Bible and faith close to her heart. Charlene loved travel, and represented Maritime Travel in Digby for over 30 years, helping everyone near and far with their travel dreams. A love of all things beautiful, from landscapes to flowers and gardens, and red cardinals. Her favourite past times included searching for a good Yard sales, Sunday morning ProLine picks and drives with Jimmy looking for Deer.
She was the happiest baking, and always made a point to bake your favourite treat for special occasions. She loved her cats, and enjoyed sipping tea with her morning daily devotionals, going to the theatre, and a loyal fan of the Maple Leafs. Charlene's most treasured memory was on her wedding day, where she said I do to the love of her life Jimmy. She lived by the motto, "One day at a time," a reflection of her grace, strength, and loving spirit.
Charlene is survived by her loving Husband Jimmy Walker. Mother Muriel Murphy, Sisters, Tina Godsoe, Brooke Godsoe (Eddie), and Lisa Jones (Kim); brothers David Godsoe (Georgia), Trevor Richardson, Jessy Godsoe, Kyle Godsoe (Ronda), and Andrew Valiquette (Lauren).
