Clarence Leroy Wagner

Clarence Leroy Wagner age 78 of Marshalltown, passed away August 22 at home and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Born in Riverdale, he was a son of the late Nevins and Zella Wagner.

He was a barber by trade. His passion was farming and working in the woods. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. He loved to bowl, play cards, and games. He loved to socialize with his friends and family.

Clarence is survived by loving wife Lynda Wagner of 57 years; daughter, Diana Denton (Shawn); sons, Ted Wagner (Laurel), Dean Wagner (Verna); sister, Lois Sparkes (Del); brother, Orville Wagner; grandchildren, Shauna, Natasha, Nicholas, Kiersten, Nicole, Kendra; great grandchildren, Hannah, Sydnee, Matthew, Kyle and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brother, Norman Wagner.

Special thank you to Homecare, VON, special friend Pam, Kiersten, Natasha for helping during the nights. We appreciate all of the help, love and compassion received from our family and friends. Donations in memory can me made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Celebration of Life will be held at the family property on Saturday, September 5 at 2pm followed by refreshments at the family home. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

My deepest condolences to Linda and the family. We had lots of good times and laughs in the past. Looking at all your wonderful pictures you have great memories to hopefully give you comfort at this difficult time. Clarence will certainly be missed by so many lives that he had touched. He was a good man and may he fly high...RIP.
