Daniel Frank Amero

It is with great sadness that we the family of the late Daniel Frank Amero announce his passing on January 12, 2023, at Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, on May 15, 1948, he was a son of the late Wallace Frank Amero and Leta Williams (Lavigne) Amero. Daniel repaired watches and clocks for over 50 years. Daniel loved his family , travelling, music, being with his friends and trips on his Goldwing. Daniel will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He will be forever remembered by his wife of 54 years, Veronica, his children, Joseph (Chrissy) Amero, Malcolm (Stephanie Marshall) Amero, Wanda (Mike) Bartlett, grandchildren Gregory, Anthony, Joseph, Devin, Tiffany, Shelby and Amber and 3 great- granddaughters, sister Sheila (Len) Ede , Dartmouth; brother Ronald (Barbara) Amero, Ottawa, Ont. Special thanks to Dr. John Black , Nurses and Staff of Digby General Hospital, VON, and Home Care for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Jayne’s Funeral Home, 15 Birch St. Digby. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
