LeBlanc (Surette), Darlene Susan- Age 60, of Digby, Nova Scotia passed away June 24 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Harvey Station, New Brunswick she was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Surette (Scott).

Over the years Darlene worked at the Cornwallis Cafe, Mountain Gap Inn, Birch St. Seafood’s and worked in childcare. She enjoyed puzzles, dinosaurs, fishing and camping. She loved her family, hosting and entertaining, cooking and making rapure pie from scratch, and was the life of the party. She could drive anything, her driving skills were unmatched. She could take apart and fix any appliance.

Darlene is survived by sons, Michael (Ginger), Jason, Shaun all of Digby; sister, Linda Boudreau Maine, USA; brothers, Raymond Scott,Richard (Bonnie) Surette, Michael Surette all of Digby. Grandchildren, Briana LeBlanc, Alexandria LeBlanc, Tyler LeBlanc, Noah LeBlanc, Owen LeBlanc, Myles LeBlanc, Kyle LeBlanc, Brandy LeBlanc, Ashley LeBlanc. Briana is pregnant with her first great grandchild and is due in December; nieces and nephews, Joseph Hamilton, Craig Scott, Raymond Scott, Daniel Scott, Jennifer Surette, Chad Woodruff, Amanda Woodruff. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brother Wayne Scott.
