Derrick Joseph Amero

We are saddened to announce that Derrick Joseph Amero passed away February 28, 2016 at the age of 52 Born in Digby he was a son of Anne (LeBlanc) Andrews and the late Charles Andrews. Derrick was a carpenter and cabinet maker. He was a hardworker and had a heart of gold. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar and spending time with his children. He is survived by his wife, Denise Amero; daughter, Miranda Amero, Halifax; son, Shane Amero, Halifax; brothers, Dale (Ileen) Sabean; Ont.; Dwayne (Tanya) Amero, Hillgrove; David (Jackie) Sabean, Mochelle; Charles (Cindy) Andrews, Yarmouth; Kenny (Faye) Andrews, Dartmouth; Tim Brown (Kathleen Palliser), Dartmouth; also several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9, Friday March 4th, from Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (902-245-2525), also where the Funeral Service will be at 11am Saturday March 5th. Rev. Kenneth Perkins will officiate. Donations in memory may be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
