Don was a power engineer, he enjoyed working with his hands including fixing cars, computers and anything mechanical or electrical. He loved his family, his children and his many grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his wife, Deborah Rice; daughters, Karen Martin, Shelly Plaxton and Julia Martin; son, Jacob Martin as well as his many grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Gail Pearce.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. A funeral service will be held at Ashmore Baptist Church on Saturday, March 8th at 1pm, Rev. Fred Bigelow officiating.
