

Ossinger, Donna Anne -Age 85 was received by Her Lord and Saviour on February 18, 2025, at home. Donna was born in Tiverton on May 13, 1939 and was the oldest daughter of the late Basil and Ada (Challoner) Outhouse.
During her lifetime, she was a devoted wife and mother who loved her Lord and her family dearly. She was an active member of the Tiverton Baptist Church as a Sunday School teacher, member of the Sunshine Bible Class, and a choir member.
Her faith in the Lord gave her strength through her many illnesses during her lifetime.
In her earlier years she worked at Small Bros. fish plant, sold Amway products and was an Avon Sales representative. She also was farmer raising pigs and chickens to put bacon and eggs on the table.
Donna and her husband Edwin owned and operated the Tiny Tattler Restaurant in Central Grove for 22 years, and later Donna operated the Fisherman's Needle Bed & Breakfast in Tiverton for 12 years.
Reading Christian Books, her Bible, knitting and gardening were her favorite past times, and she was a great story teller of times gone by.
Donna is survived by her loving children: sons, Edwin (Tom), (Barbara), Tiverton, Kendall (Lorralie), Tiverton; daughter, Lisa (Peter) Lohnes, Fredericton, NB; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren; sister Belva Anoli Bow NH; brother Willard (Cindy) Outhouse, Myrtle Beach SC, and sister-inlaw Kathy, Hackett's Cove. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edwin.
As per Donna's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Friday June 13th from 6pm-8pm at the Tiverton Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, June 14th from the Tiverton Baptist Church with reception to follow at the Tiverton Community Hall. Donations may be made in Donna's memory to the Tiverton Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank the VON, Palliative Care, Digby/Clare Home Care, with special thanks to Kendall Ossinger and Lorralie Boudreau for caring for our mom 24/7 during the past few weeks, Nurse Practitioner Courtney Highleyman, Kim Marshall VON, Amanda Thibodeau, Palliative Care who all contributed to our mom's care and her wish to spend her last days at home.
