Elizabeth M. Guier

Guier, Elizabeth (Betty) Marjorie Embraced in the arms of angels, on Dec 22nd, 2022. Our dear mother left this world to be with Jesus and those who made that journey before her at the age of 89. Born Jan 6th, 1933 to Brad and Vivian (Cann) Perry in Boston Massachusetts. She is survived by her children, Karen (Butch) Keven, Perry (Annette); grandchildren, Terry (Donna) Michael (Lindsay), Mitchell, Kitch, Jennifer, Shannon; great grandchildren Darcy, Briana, Christie, Dana, Aynsley, Peyton, Madison, Ryan, Jai, Tres; many great great grandchildren ; nieces and nephews; sister Barbara; brother in law, Orland (Iva); sister in law, Muriel; daughter in law, Patsy; and whom she considered special sons Gary Bates and Tracy Lombard.

Besides her parents Mom was predeceased by her husband, Roy; son, Steven; grandson, Bruce; granddaughter, Annette; brother, Junior and daughter in law Cheryl.

Mom spent most of her life in Freeport where she married and brought up her family. She loved to cook and share her delicious baked goods with family and friends. She loved playing her guitar and singing country music. Writing her own gospel songs and singing them at church. Our mother was a kind, compassionate person with more love and affection then you could ever find, she gave us wonderful memories that only our hearts can hold.

A very special thank you to Mom’s angel Amy Stanton who was so good with Mom and showed her so much love and Mom loved her like a daughter.

Although no longer with us please keep our mother alive by sharing memories. Until we meet again in heaven we love and will miss you dearly.

Donations in Betty’s name can be made to the Alzheimer Society, Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of your choosing. A visitation will take place Dec 29th from 4:30 - 7:30 pm at Freeport Baptist church, with service on Dec 30th, 11 am at Freeport Baptist Church.
