Frank Gidney

Gidney, Frank Clifford, age 73 of Deep Brook passed away July 11, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Centreville, he was the son the late Frank Clifford and Meredith (Morehouse) Gidney. Frank worked as a lobster fisherman with his father out of Centerville. He also worked in an ore mine in Northern Ontario then at Lewis Sawmill in Weymouth. Later in life he worked as a driver for Belliveau Motors in Digby. Frank is survived by his spouse, Sharon Gordon; stepdaughters, Jane Veinot, Mineville; Cara Dunn, Fall River; stepson, Dan Gordon, London, Ontario; sister, Phyllis (Gary) Soucisse, Halibury, Ontario; nine step grandchildren; nieces, Cathy Wilkinson, Charlie Lave, British Columbia, Penny Warner, St. Catherines, Ontario. A Lions Service followed by reception will be held at 11am on Monday, July 17 at the Lions Hall, 948 Highway 1, Deep Brook. Donations in memory can made to a charity of your choice.
