Born in Middleton, his life started on the farm, where he moved on to start his family and hobby farm of his own. He spent 24 years working for Michelin.
He loved his tractor, animals and the outdoors. Most times he could be found in the woods hauling logs or touring the property on the 4 wheeler with Tammy.
He loved helping others, sacrificing his own needs for those he thought needed it more than he did, not expecting anything in return. A smile was good enough for him. Most of all he loved his spouse Tammy, his children and grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his children Donald (Melissa) Brown, Greenwood; Cora-Lee (Lance) Riswold, Kingston; Christine Brown (George), Aylesford; Tejay Brown (Nichole), Newport Station; Jessie Wheelhouse, Bear River; Grandchildren Adelaide, Robert, Noah, Lily, Talon, Ava, Lucas, Oliver; Sisters Valerie, Margo and Mary; nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was predeceased by his wife and soulmate Tammy Wheelhouse, parents Harley and Arleen Brown, sister Beth.
We would like to thank everyone on Dads healthcare team and family and friends who have been his greatest supporters the last few months.
A private graveside service for family will take place at a later date, at the Greenland Cemetery in Bear River.
In lue of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Valley Hospice.
