Mr. James Donald "Donnie" Amero

Amero, James Donald “Donnie” – 81 of Digby passed away March 31, 2010 in Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal. Born in Digby he was a son of the late Florence Comeau. He is survived by his wife, Alice Anne May Amero; sons, Larry (Mary Ellen) Amero, Digby; Kenny (Pam) Amero and Mitchell (Sandra) Amero, both of Medicine Hat, Alberta; Patrick Amero, Digby; daughters, Evelyn (Greg) Marshall, PEI and Dawn (Tim) Way, Cole Harbour; sisters, Beatrice Sanford, Bridgewater and Margaret Fancy, Caledonia ; brother , Fred Smith, Digby; grandchildren, Scott, Erin, Brandon, Mackenzie, Ashley, Jason, Joel, Jonathan, Jill, Jeremiah, Emily, Oliver, Nicholas, Robert, , Jordan and Sara; many great-grandchildren. Donnie was predeceased by his grandson, Craig Amero; brothers, Ronnie, Roy and Eddie; sister Aggie. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 Sunday where there will be a Legion Tribute Service 7:00pm and Prayers at 8:00pm all in Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby. The Funeral Mass will be 11:00am Monday in St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Father Keith Billard officiating. Interment in the Madonna Cemetery, Marshalltown. Donations in Donnie’s memory can be made to TLC, Digby.
