TIDD, Joan Elizabeth – age 90, passed away at home on August 14th, 2024. Born in St. John, NB on November 9th, 1933, she was the daughter to the late Gilbert and Lillian (Anthony) Morrissey. Joan was a faithful member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Bridgetown, she enjoyed reading, word search puzzles and going for long drives. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and knitting them all dish cloths. She is survived by her son Wesley (Debbie) Tidd, Digby; daughter Susan (Rob) McDow, Ontario; and 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. Aside from her parents Joan is predeceased by her husband Orlando Tidd. A visitation will take place on Friday evening, August 23rd, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Jayne’s Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place Saturday, August 24th, at 2 p.m., also from Jayne’s Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Little River Cemetery.
