Joyce Marie Landers

Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Ruth Daley. She was predeceased by her husband, David; brothers, Fred, Wally, Lewis and Robert. Joyce is survived by her children,Ross, Bedford, Lewis (Elizabeth), Halifax; Brenda Tibbetts, Smith’s Cove; Deborah Landers (Margaret), Saint John; grandchildren, Mark Landers, Halifax; Craig Landers, Halifax; Lorie Laybolt, Edmonton; Haley Landers, Halifax; Mary Landers, Halifax; Scott Dunphy, Saint John; Kate Tibbetts, Smith’s Cove; and Sarah Tibbetts, Wolfville.. She is also survived by her sisters, Louise Mailman, Kentville; Marjorie Wilson, Digby; and Irene (Robert) Redmond, Digby. She was a loving wife and mother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. She excelled at cooking and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Thank you to Dr. John Black and all the staff of Tideview Terrace for the compassionate care and understanding given to Joyce. No Visitation by request. Funeral service will be at 1PM Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from the Digby United Baptist Church, Rev. Jeff White presiding with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Digby. Family flowers only.
