

It is with broken hearts that the family of Larry Crowell announces his peaceful passing in Digby General Hospital on October 8th, 2015 at the age of 72. Born in East Ferry, Larry was foreman at Maritime Telephone & Telegraph, North St. Halifax, Kentville, and Digby (1963-1995). He was a member of The Bell Aliant Pioneers. Larry was an avid hunter, gardener and enjoyed many years of family time at the cottage on Porter’s Lake, Digby County. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Judy (McCleave) Crowell; his son, Larry Brian (Jennifer); grandsons, Kaiden, Chase and Porter of Kingston, NS; his daughter, Rachael Kathleen (Stephen Cwirenko); granddaughters, Danielle and Gillian of Toronto, Ontario; sister Myrna (Ed) Troop, Bridgetown. Larry was predeceased by his parents Godfrey and Frances (Theriault) Crowell of Sandy Cove; brother, Brian (1994), brother in-law and dear friend, Robert McClafferty (1999). As per Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 1-2 pm, with funeral service at 2 pm on Friday October 16th at Jayne’s Funeral Home in Digby (902-245-2525). Rev.
