Lorna May Burnham

Lorna May Burnham, age 76, of Digby, passed away with her family by her side, on April 30th, 2022. She was born August 20th, 1945 in Digby, NS. She was a daughter of late Paul and Laura Winchester. Lorna was one of the sweetest, most kind hearted, caring individuals. She worked for various sectors of the Government as a administrative assistant/secretary. She always helped anyone she could in any way she could. She offered herself up to help and never fell short. She was a very strong Catholic, member of the St. Patrick's Church and enjoyed praying the rosary. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her family. Her children and grand-children were the sparkle in her eyes and her reason for living. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Burnham; sister, Lorraine Manser; grandchildren, Samantha, Michael, Amanda, Stephen and David; great granddaughters, Georgia and Mary. Besides her parents Lorna was predeceased by husband, David; son, Tim; brothers, Lowell, Butch, Paul and sister, Theta. Donations in memory of Lorna can be made to Diabetic Society. Visitation will be 7-9pm with prayers at 8 pm with Father Raymond from Jayne’s’ Funeral Home, Digby. Funeral service will be 11am from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Father Keith officiating.
