Mabel Eleanor Burns

Burns, Mabel Eleanor age 72 of Tiddville, passed away on November 28, 2019 at Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Edna (McCullough) Frost.

Mabel loved crocheting making things for everyone. She enjoyed baking, pickling and was specially known for her peanut butter fudge.

She is survived by daughters, Susan (Albert), Elaina (Andrew); sons, Wayne (Claudette), Howard, Dean; sisters, Edna (Joe), Glee, twin sister Millie; brothers, Keith (Rae), Donnie; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Beside her parents she was predeceased by her husband Bobby; sister Gertie; brother Llewelyn and granddaughter Stephanie.

Visitation will be 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm Monday, December 2, funeral service 2pm Tuesday, December 3, all from Jaynes Funeral Home Digby with private family interment. With Pastor Tim Long officiating.

Oh my Mabel. Home with Our Father n His Angels. Safe in the Arms of Jesus. So sorry for your families and their Earthly loss. You sole, kind Heart ❤️ & love of Laughter will be dearly missed. I’ll never ever forget the time you & mom we’re in the same room after surgery. I walked in to visit , my mom tears running down her face, gasping for air I went to press her Buzzer. She shook her head No , pointed to you Mabel & said I Daresent Break My Stitches. Oh my For the Love of Mabel. She got her Sainthood that day.
