Marie Leota Boudreau

Marie Leota Boudreau age 84 from Coberrie, NS. Born January 16th, 1941. Wife to Dennis Alphonse Boudreau since April 1st 1960 (64 years). Daughter of the late Clyde and Florence May (Gavel) Amero from Weaver Settlement, NS, passed away peacefully March 8 2025 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital.

First and foremost, Marie had a love for God and served him faithfully for the last 48 years.

She was a very social lady and has made many friends in her 84 years of life. She loved to have company, the more the merrier. Over the years Marie as a stay at home wife has sold many things like Tupperware, Avon, Regal, Watkins, C&M and Rawleigh. She also ran a small store inside her home for many years. She loved to go to church, her seniors group and hanging with the gang Helen, Iris (passed), Amy, Terrie, Wanda (passed) and whoever else wanted to join them. Marie love the holidays and having all of her family around. She loved to do puzzles, knit,play cards and board games and have her little house parties. She loved to cook and try new recipes. She enjoyed watching her birds and squirrels that came to her feeders, she loved flowers, talking on the phone and the colour red. She was an amazing strong woman with a heart of gold.

Marie has 7 children of her own, but also help raise some of her grandchildren.

Her children Dexter (passed 01/25/2022) Christine, Kimberly, Stephanie, Bridget/Dale, Lorralie/Kendall, Dean, Joey/Georgina (passed 06/02/2019) and Joanne who was like a daughter to her.

She had a special love for her grandchildren; Jaime, Cerea, Sharon, Jason, Monica, Andrea, Trent, Chas, Trey, Brendan, Laleah, Chelsey, Hayley, Virgil (passed 06/12/2015); Great grandchildren Téa, Braedon (passed 07/20/2024) Caleb, Ava, Maya, Ethan, Ben, Xander, Izzy, Oaklen, Styrling, Rylee, Mikayla, Isabelle, Jasmine, Athena, Axton, Archer and Emmit.

We lost a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many but heaven gained an Angel! 🪽

A visitation for Marie will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday March 18 from 2 PM to 4 PM at Jayne's Funeral Home, 5114 Evangeline Trail, Weymouth, NS. A funeral service will take place Wednesday March 19, 2025 at 11 AM from the Calvary Baptist Church, Plympton, NS.
