Marie-Rita was retired from the province of Nova Scotia department of finance. She is survived by step daughter, Joyce Hazel; step son, Conan Carter; 8 step grandchildren; and favorite step great grandson Colton O’neill. Besides he parents she was predeceased by her husband Williard Carter, and step son Larry.
