To Joy, Judy, Angela and all of Mark's family,

I was very sorry to read that Mark had died and that he was taken from you all at such a young age. I only knew Mark from his time at the photo shop, but since I have a half basement full of family slides and photos processed at the shop, I was there fairly frequently. My visits there always were longer than expected as Mark would always have something interesting to talk about. He was interesting, curious, kind and I could tell he had a strong love for his family.

My deepest sympathy to all of you and I hope that many memories (and a lot of photos) will ease some of your pain at this very sad time.

My very best to you all.

My deepest sympathy to Mark's family. I went to DRHS and Acadia University with Mark. I also saw him occasionally at the photoshop with my mom, Bonnie. I remember Mark as a sharp-witted character with the heart and courage of a lion. The world lost a bright light with his passing. May you rest easy, Mark.

My memories of Mark always entailed him being a fierce competitor, whether it be on the soccer pitch mowing people down or the ice rink playing some rockem sockem hockey or the annual new years football games and if you wanted to talk politics with him, you had better have done your homework. Mark, you were a intelligent man with the heart of a champion and went down fighting to the end. Go in peace brother, I hope to see you on the other side.

Mrs. Amirault. My name is Doug McLeish of Digby. Over the past few years, Mark was kind enough to do some framing work for myself and the church I attend. Both my wife and I had visited the store on Water St. on several occasions and had some nice talks with Mark. Please accept our sincere condolences on your loss. We will remember Mark as a cheerful and good man. He was taken from us far too soon.

I knew Mark from the photography store but got to really know him from working with him at DGH as a CCA. Mark loved helping people just as I do, we are in the right field for helping those who need it. The patients loved him as he always remained calm and took everything in stride. The staff really enjoyed having him as part of the staff and he will truly be missed!

Rest In Peace Mark, your suffering is over, go be with those who wait for you in Heaven and keep watch over those who remain here.
I’ll miss you and I’ll never forget you!

My condolences to his wife, his family and friends.
