Small, Olivia Eleanor, age 69 of Tideview Terrace and formerly of Freeport, Digby Co. she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Emily (Thurber) Howard. Olivia was Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 92 where she was a 50 year member. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, St. Mary’s Chapter #35, Past Noble Grand of the Sunshine Rebekah Lodge and was village Clerk for Freeport. Surviving are her husband John Small, brothers Billy (Joanne) Howard and Judson Howard both of Freeport, Leonard (Yvonne) Howard of Central Grove. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by special Uncle Carroll Thurber and special Aunt Eleanor Thurber. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Jaynes Funeral Home, Digby. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to Islands Consolidated Free Store or to the Freeport Baptist Church Food Bank.
