

Percy was a mechanic for over 50 years. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and a part time fisherman. He loved his dogs, playing cribbage,45’s and enjoyed four wheeling. Percy is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Dennison); daughters, Wanda (Frankie), Fall River, Tammy, Ontario, Lisa (Nelson Keizer) Barrett, Lower Sackville; son, Percy Lee, Gulliver’s Cove; sister, Patricia Rafuse (Billy), Wellington; brother, Lloyd Haines (Joan), Lower Sackville; grandchildren, Cassondra Barrett, Devin Barrett; great grand children, Mahlia, Mackenzie, Tegan; several nieces and nephews and cousin Kevin who spent most of his spare time hanging out playing cards and talking shop.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be 2 pm Monday, March 2 from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. Rev. Jean Austin officiating. Interment will be in the All Saint’s Anglican Church Cemetery with reception to follow at the Rossway Community Hall. Donations in Percy’s memory can be made to The Heart and Stroke foundation.
