Main, Robert Arthur- Haverhill, Mass. born June 2, 1923 in Haverhill ,Mass. he was a son of the late Albert Gardner and Daisy Pauline (Veinot) Main. Robert passed away in Tideview Terrace, Digby on Friday, April 22, 2011. He is survived by son Ronald Arthur (Helen) ,Carman, Manitoba, sister Edna Prime, Ashmore, Digby Co.; grandson Richard Main, Ashmore, granddaughters April, Weaver Settlement, Christina, Alberta; 5 great-grandchildren, 9 nephews and 7 nieces. He was predeceased by wife Mabel Ernestine, sister hazel, niece Jean, nephews Lewis and Stephen. Visitation will be from 3-5pm and 7-9pm Tuesday from Jayne’s Funeral Home, Weymouth North. (245-2525). Funeral service will be 4pm Wednesday from the Bethel Baptist Church, Ashmore. Rev. Fred Bigelow will officiate with burial in the Ashmore Baptist Cemetery.
