Buckman, Rosemary Isabelle “ Mary” , age 74, Marshalltown, Digby Co. passed away December 8, 2012 at home. Born Rosemary (Neveu) Haliburton, in Montreal, QC., she was the adoptive daughter of the late John and Minnie Haliburton and the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Neveu. She was employed many years as a secretary for various companies in Montreal. She volunteered for Telephone Pioneers, (Digby Scallop Club) , Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20, Digby and Northwood. Surviving are her husband Leland, daughter Heather (Ron), Central Grove, Digby Co.; Wade ( Tanya), Montreal; Robert (Elyssa), Halifax; sister Sandra, Coquitlam, BC; brothers Douglas, Montreal; William, Port Coquitlam, BC; grandchildren Cara, Lisa, Zackerie, Adam, Ian, and Matthew, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Arthur and Frederick, niece Beverly. Visitation will be Saturday from Noon until the time of service at 2pm both from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby (245-2525). Mr. Lou Outhouse will officiate with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Digby. Donations in memory can be made to your local library.
