Roy William Vickery

Roy worked for Intertape Polymer Group for over 30 years. He was involved and volunteered with the Royal Canadian Legion #92 in Freeport as well as a volunteer firefighter until his retirement. He loved camping, canoeing and playing darts.

Roy is survived by his wife, Janet (MacDonald); son, Joel Vickery; step son, Matthew Lindsay; step daughters, Amanda Lindsay and Michelle Lindsay (Jason Howard) as well as sister, Jocelyn White.

Besides his parents, Roy was predeceased by his brothers, Dana and Stephen.

Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home, Digby. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Royal Canadian Legion #92 in Freeport or to a charity of your choice.
