OBITUARY

Russell Clarence Quinn

August 25, 1945 – November 20, 2020
Obituary of Russell Clarence Quinn
IN THE CARE OF

Jayne’s Funeral Home

With sadnesses, yet also wonderful memories, this is to notify all those who knew Russell Quinn of his recent passing, Nov. 20, 2020, peacefully in his sleep, at his Home in Bear River, NS. He was the son of late parents, Russ & Pat. , & beloved late brother Dennis (Shakey).

He leaves behind in Nova Scotia his lady friend of 20 yrs. Glynis Jones, & an adopted son, David Clarence Brittain. The list of Russ’s Friends is much too long to mention here, & know who they are, & their thoughts & memories are greatly welcomed to the Guest Book.

Russ was a competitive accomplished athlete in Jr./Minor league baseball (Pitcher-Windsor Royals) & also in ‘scrub-hockey’ well into his thirties. Russ also was an articulate & creative student of Fine Arts, painting & studying in his Undergraduate Yrs. at the Univ. Of Windsor & Detroit Inst. Of Fine-Arts. Over the Yrs. he also learned & played guitars, often referring to himself as ‘’yep, I'm now a decently-ok 3-chord-man ! lol ''

Russ’s wishes for cremation have been honored, but due to Covid, internment details are pending & will be announced ASAP when decided.
