Ruth Lillian McCullough Wright

Wright, Ruth Lillian - 91 of Digby passed away Friday May 4th in Orchard Court, Kentville. Born in Morganville, Ruth was a daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian (Hines) McCullough. Ruth was a loving wife and mother; she loved her family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid quilter and gardener who also loved to bird watch and feed the birds. She was an expert knitter and had a great love of cooking. Ruth is survived by sons, Robert Wright, Cornwallis; David Stewart, Digby; Ruth also leaves behind grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and good friend Arnold Trask. Ruth was predeceased her husband, Carl; son, Michael; grandson, Nicholas David; brothers, Donald; Stanley; Roy and sisters, Alice and Dorothy “Dolly”. Visitation 2-4pm and 7-9pm, Wednesday May 9th from Jayne’s Funeral Home, (245-2525) 7 Birch St. Digby. Funeral Service 2pm, Thursday May 10th from South Range Christian Church. Rev. Merle Zimmerman presiding. Interment in South Range Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ruth can be made to the South Range Cemetery Fund or a charity of choice.
