Perkins, Vera Hazel- 88, of Tideview Terrace, Digby, formerly of Clementsvale, Annapolis Co. passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Bear River East, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Eva (Clark) Sanford. Vera was a member of the Clementsvale Baptist Church, Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Clementsport and a member of The Friendly Club, Clementsvale. Surviving are her sons Robert, Clementsvale; Gary, Upper Clements; daughters Katherine (Paul) Hargreaves, Ont..; Gloria (Roland) Trimper, Plympton; sisters Ola Carey, Margaretsville, Annapolis Co.; Roberta Trimper, Digby; 7 grandchildren, 8 Great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice, brother Leslie, infant sister and grandson Troy. Funeral service will be 11am Saturday from the Clementsvale Baptist Church . Pastor Herb Anderson presiding. Interment in the Clementsvale Baptist Cemetery. Donations in memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
