Virginia Rae Amero
October 16, 1950 – January 11, 2021
AMERO (Hurlburt), Virginia Rae, age 70 passed away peacefully with her husband John by her side. Born October 16, 1950 to the late Victor and Enid Hurlburt of Yarmouth.
Survived by daughter, Sharla (Corey), Windsor; Joanna (Wade), Digby; grandchildren, Braydon, Calli, Austin, Maksim and Cody; sister, Charlene (John); brothers, Bob (Phyllis), Burnie (Ruth), Victor Jr.(Rechelle), Brian (Dennis); many nieces and nephews.
She was a registered nurse at Digby General Hospital, Tideview Terrace and the Cornwallis Base. Beloved wife, mother, friend and Member of the South Range Christian Church.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Red Cross. Please share a memory or leave a condolence at www.jaynesfuneralhome.com

I remember Ginny’s kindness to my family when I was visiting my mother Blanche Lewis who lived in South Range. She invited my daughters to spend time with her girls.

So sad to hear of Ginny's passing..we were neighbors of theirs when they lived North Range for a few years before we moved west but we always kept in touch every Christmas with cards and letters ..we eventually lost touch with them.. our deepest sympathies go out to John , Sharla, Joanna and families at this difficult time ❤ may she rest in peace and may you all take comfort in knowing she is not suffering anymore...hugs to you all ❤
