

TRIMPER, Wilbur “Buzzy” Douglas Jr. – Age 64 of Digby, passed away at home July 31, 2017. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late Wilbur and Roberta (Sanford) Trimper. Buzzy loved being a part of the exhibitions; throughout his life he was an active ox teamster for many years then his desire switched to horse teaming. Over his career he worked as a butcher taking over the family business; he drove a tow truck for Potter’s Auto Salvage; worked a couple years with MacIsaac Drilling then worked at Wilson’s Gas in Bear River until his health started to decline. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren, Hannah, Ayden and Steven. Buzzy is survived by daughters, Stacey (Greg) Weir, Becky (Chad) Stark, Mandy Trimper; former wife and friend, Rosamond “Ro” Trimper; grandchildren, Hannah Stark, Ayden Stark; step-grandson, Steven Weir; sisters, Nancy (Danny) Auby, Chris (Jim) Cress; brothers, Ken (Kathy) Trimper, Garney (Cindy) Trimper; nieces and nephews, Tony Trimper, Melodie Degrass, Corey Trimper, Cassie and Mitchell Auby; Ashley Cress, Keith and B.J. Stanton, Kirsten Singer and Kendra Trimper. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Linda Stanton; brother, Tony; nephews, Jason Trimper and Calvin Auby. A big thank you to the VON and Home Support for the love and care you gave to our Dad and a special thank you to Todd “Toad” Daniels who Buzzy loved like a son and was a huge part of his life. Visitation 7-9pm, Friday August 4th from Jayne’s Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm, Saturday September 16, 2017 at Jayne's Funeral Home, Digby.
