To the family of Wilson Andrews, we send our sincere condolences. We were disheartened to hear of his passing. God bless all of you with his comfort and strength during this time.

We were joking with Wilson only a few weeks ago. After discussing an unknown plant he acquired and talking about going fast in his new car,  our last memory is of him chasing us out the door to give us blueberries.

Many years ago when living in Doucetteville I'd go for my daily walk and quite often meet Andy on the return from his... always a smile and a little chat. The days I didn't meet him walking I'd get a wave and a shout from the orchard! Fond memories of a sweet man.

Sending our condolences to family and friends. Grammy was so happy to have found someone to enjoy her time with, and I know how much she will miss him. Thinking of everyone at this difficult time.

I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of Wilson.  While I did not know him for a great length of time, I know how happy my grandmother, Jessie was with him as her companion.    I enjoyed their visits and I wish we could have gotten to Digby to see them, but I will always remember skyping with them and the kids.

I will surely miss Joking and teasing Andy whenever I met him and Jessie in town at the grocery store. We would always stop and have a chat and catch up on things. Maryjane I am sorry for your loss and I often think of you. Prayers for your family and loved ones in this time of great loss. Another great one gone “home”.

I was very sorry to hear about the loss in our family.  Although I did not have the honour to know my grandpa closely, the moments that I did speak with him, were always heart warming. 

This last year, when we spoke on the phone and even briefly had a video chat, there always seemed to be so much joy and happiness in his voice and he was always kind and sweet with me.   My last memory of him was a great big smile as we waved to each other across the distance and I am blessed to have this memory of him to last my lifetime.

Lastly, I am ever so grateful that the greatest gift my grandpa gave to me, was my dad.  With all my heart, my husband Daniel and I send our deepest of condolences to my dad, his sisters, and all of the family.

I was raised in your orchard and I feel lucky that my kids had the same advantage. Thanks for being so kind to us. You will be greatly missed. A memory that will forever stand out for me is when I was 12 and uncle Donnie, and you and I got the bear in the side orchard trees. You always taught me from a young age about nature and wildlife. I can’t believe you’re gone. 

I am deeply saddened by the loss of our good neighbour & friend, Andy. A pillar of our community, Andy was always there to offer life wisdom or gardening tips, and could make you chuckle when you needed it the most. Always offering a warm meal, fresh produce from his orchard, and plentiful jelly beans, Andy’s door was always open to his neighbours. 

We shared many great memories throughout all kinds of weather, storms, power outages, and everyday life. You taught us life skills, fishing tips, hunting tricks, & gardening techniques (which try as you may, I could never master)

My favorite memories with you are our ham dinners, trips to the back orchard, chicken pot pies, and the 2009 bottle of homemade blueberry wine you gifted me for my 27th birthday. 

Andy thank you for looking over us & our daughters, I know you will continue to keep watch over us and your loving companion Jessie.
