I got the pleasure of meeting Andrea in 2000 at Ventura Coastal. For the first 11 years I worked under her supervision that lead to a friendship I will always cherish.  She was straight forward and to the point and that's what I respected about her. She never sugar coated anything when it came to advice. Anything I was experiencing she always had a life story to tell. I'd like to think that God placed her in my life to keep me on the straight and narrow as a young man. I know there was a few times she wanted to fire me but instead she scolded me like a family member and I'm greatfull to her for that. If I went sick for a few days she'd bring me medication and say, Make sure you take it cause I ain't coming in early to cover for you :)  I dreaded working the holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving but I knew she'd prepare a little extra lunch for me so i had something to looked forward too. As long as I washed her Tupperware though and not be a burro and leave it dirty LOL! She was always open to share her daily life challenges and would turn it into a joke that would have us busting up with laughter. Always smiling, generous, and caring and I'm going to miss her. So I'll keep her memory alive by shouting out at a truck driver every now and then, Hey Cabazon! Hey Burro! Hey Jackass LOL! The heavens gained a strong Angel and I lost a piece of my heart. RIP my dear friend Andrea.

Miss you so much sister a piece of my heart has gone with you, so glad you don't have to suffer anymore and I know you're  in heaven enjoying your new life. Be with you soon, love :heart:

Andrea was the first person I would see in the morning. She always had such a wonderful and bright smile. Seeing that would always make my day. She was a 
pleasure to work with. The world has lost a great person, but heaven has received 
an angel that is truly sweet and caring.
