Ben Bedana Macam was born on May 20, 1930 to Francisco Macam and Simeona Bedana in the Phillipines. He worked as a Radio Operator for the Filipino Military until his retirement. He married Natividad Martinez and had 9 children, two sons, Maximilo and Mario Macam, and seven daughters, Marivic, Maritess, Maria Aurora, Maria Cecelia, Maria Cleofe, Mariejan, and Meriam Macam. He is also survived by 20 grandschildren.
