Carol Jean Conway

She was 91 years old. Carol was born on November 30, 1934, in New Haven, Connecticut. She was the second child of Howard and Vera Goodhue. Carol grew up on the East coast and graduated from Orleans High School, Vermont, in 1952. In the summer of 1952, she traveled to Dinuba, California, where she met and married Jack Conway. They have five children, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Carol worked for Dinuba Public Schools for twenty-five years, as an instructional aide. Jack and Carol spent the most part of sixty years enjoying life in Dinuba. In 2014, they moved to Sierra View Homes Retirement Community in Reedley. Because of their deep love for each other and their family, family time and family celebrations were the most important events to both Jack and Carol. Now they are together in Heaven, celebrating all that is good in the presence of God. Carol’s “Celebration of Life” service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11 am at the Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
