David Nuñez Jr., age 44, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Born in Dinuba, California, David was the cherished son of Beatrice (Cisneros) Orozco and David Nuñez, Sr. He was a proud Marine who loved to serve and live life to the fullest.
Throughout his life, David was known for his adventurous spirit. He had a deep passion for fishing, rock climbing, and running alongside his fellow Marines. His enthusiasm for outdoor activities mirrored his enthusiasm for life, always seeking new challenges and striving for excellence in everything he did.
David’s family and friends were the center of his world. He is survived by his loving father, David Nuñez Sr., and his mother, Beatrice (Cisneros) Orozco, as well as his stepfather, David Orozco. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Sabrina Nuñez. David was preceded in death by his brother, Nathan Pardo, whose memory he carried with him every day.
David's loss is deeply felt by all who knew him, especially his Marine brothers and friends, who shared in his adventures and his unwavering loyalty. His strength, courage, and unwavering commitment to those he loved will forever be remembered.
A visitation has been scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2025 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618 with a funeral service starting at 10:00 am at the same location. Followed by the interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Road 100, Dinuba, CA 93618.
David’s spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be deeply missed.
