Dolores Murillo Parra

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Dolores Murillo Parra, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in Visalia, California, at the age of 65.

Dolores was born on March 24, 1961, to Pedro Murillo and Felisa Parra in Concepción Vieja, Municipio de Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Dolores will forever be remembered for the unconditional love and kindness she so freely shared with everyone around her. She was a selfless and caring woman who always put the needs of others before her own. She was the heart and soul of her family—a source of strength, comfort, and love—and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dolores devoted her life to her faith, her family, and the people she loved. She found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life: preparing delicious meals for her family, spending time in prayer, caring for her grandchildren, and sharing long phone calls with family members near and far; her love knew no distance.

Above all, Dolores was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, siblings, and all those whose lives she touched.

Dolores is survived by her four children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and many dear friends, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pedro Murillo and Felisa Parra, and her siblings, Rigoberto Murillo, Ernesto Murillo, and Juan Manuel Murillo.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, Dolores's love, faith, kindness, and beautiful memory will remain with her family and loved ones forever. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

A Funeral Service will take place at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618, US, on September 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Selma Cemetery District, 2430 Floral Ave, Selma, CA 93662, US, on September 16, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
