I still don't understand why u left us Eli, u been on my mind everyday, I hope now you are at peace, I wish u would've reached out to me or anyone else, u were loved by many people. RIP ELI, u will be missed!!

Eli, it was a Pirates life for us I remember meeting you in school and you becoming my advice guru I'd always turn to always willing to listen. I remember my first trip on mt own ro see you at UCR and our trip ro SF to visit Denise & Mario fun times we were so young looking for an adventure. I'll carry those memories and talks with me always the thing I miss most is that laugh and smile I love you my friend rest in peace a d God bless.

Eli, I'll never forget your smile and laugh. One of my favorite dearest memories is of the three of us in Paris sharing that tiny apartment, eating Nutella crepes, and drinking gallons of our favorite drink, Orangina. I hope that now whatever pain you were hiding has gone and you are at peace, sweet friend.

Eli, I wish I could tell you how special you are to me. Your laughter was infectious and your smile brightened the room. I met you a few times at UCR, but it wasn't until you started dating my good friend, Alonso Garcia, that I really got to know you. I spent many wonderful and joyous moments with you, going to concerts, eating awesome food, and just enjoying each others company. You brought great joy to Alonso's life, and I'm glad he had you as his partner for eight wonderful years. Words cannot express how much I will miss you. I hope you have found your peace. I remember the day we met through Elli, we were at UCR she told me excitedly that shed met this really cool guy and that he was just like us! No small thing as we had such a particular sense of humor. Ill never forget our trips to Joshua Tree and Palm Springs, forcing you to come hiking with us lol...stopping every 15 minutes for snacks and dubbing our group team snacks a lot. Remember when we camped in Joshua Tree? We had such deep talks, well at least deep for our yearly 20s.... Im glad i knew you Eli, and i hope youre at peace. :heart:

When we met we were instantly inseparable! Holidays with my family, Starbucks every night, trips to outlets, travel- we did everything together. You were a huge part of my life and will forever be in my heart. 
I know you send the little boy named Eli to the park on November 7th. It was you saying goodbye, acknowledging how much we love each other. I hope you will watch over my family, especially my son. 

My sincere condolences to the Tellez family and Alonso. No words can express the pain you must be feeling. I hope God helps you heal. If there is a silver lining, it is that our families will join and be close forever.

Eli, this your Joshie hoping that you are no longer in agony over what you could not share with us, the ones who loved you. I understand your pain and desperation as I was in your shoes in three moments of my life, but you saved me. These photos represent the happiness and proud moment I felt when I realized I brought you and your "Sugar Bear" Alonso Garcia together and you were each others joy and strength for eight long years. Never separated since I brought you together, your relationship warmed my heart and gave me hope that I too would one day find love and happiness. I'll miss you calling me "Joshiiie" and telling me about the wonderful shops you've gone to and the foods you eaten, and hearing about the things you and "the bear" have done.
