Esperanza Garcia, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025 at Clovis Community Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on March 14, 1940 in Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and resided for most of her life in Squaw Valley and Dinuba.
Esperanza was preceded in death by her husband, Cipriano in 2005 and most recently by her son, Robert Garcia in April 2025. She is survived by her sons, Cipriano Jr (Suzy) of Visalia, Alex (Terri) of Fresno, Joe (Kim) of Temecula, Ruben (Scott) of Santa Clara, Sister, Enedelia (Raymond) Avila of Arizona. 8 Grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Esperanza will be held Thursday, October 2, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 pm, Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 2200 S. Reedley Ave, Reedley, CA.
Funeral Mass service will be held Friday, October 3, at 8:00 AM at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, 12588 Avenue 407, Cutler, CA.
Interment to follow at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
