Evangelina M. Torres, age 87, of Orosi, California passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. Evangelina was born in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico to Guadalupe Quintero Pelayo and Martinian Martinez.

Evangelina is survived by her daughter Rosario Horcasitas; her brother Pedro Martinez; her grandson Moises Romero and her nephew Alfredo Pelayo.

Evangelina was preceded in death by her father Martinian Martinez and her mother Guadalupe Quintero Pelayo.

A visitation for Evangelina will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM with the recitation of the rosary at 5:30PM at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 8:00 AM also at Dopkins Funeral Chapel followed by the interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Road 100, Dinuba, CA 93618.
