Born in Reedley, CA, Gabby passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the age of 78. She worked on the produciton line at Poppy Foods for 25 years and was a longtime member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Garza of Dinuba; three daughters, Margaret Serafin of Los Angeles, Yolanda Villasenor of Dinuba, and Caroline Aldava of Hughson, CA; a son, Bobby Raya of Dinuba; a brother, Joe Islas of Turlock; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at St. Catherine's Catholic Church with the rosary vigil starting at 7:15 p.m.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church followed by interment at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
