Helen Mary Tyler was born in Hollis AR, on October 25, 1919, and died in Visalia on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at the age of 96. She had worked as a restaurant cook for over 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Tyler, in 1972, and her son, Jimmy Tyler.
Helen is survived by her son, C.J Tyler of Visalia; her daughter, Doris Roque of Dinuba; her brother, Wayne Whiley; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
