Irene Amilia Sandoval

Irene Sandoval passed away unexpectedly at the age of 83 on October 3, 2025, at her home. She was a beloved mother, cherished grandmother, and a dear friend to many.

Born on February 13, 1942, in Dinuba, California, Irene was one of eleven children born to Teofilo and Emily Garcia. She attended local Dinuba schools and, in 1959, married Bonifacio “Vacho” Sandoval Jr.

Together, they had seven children:

• Stephanie Schreiner, married to Doug Schreiner

• Cecilia Bobst

• Veronica Forner, married to Joe Forner

• The late Christopher Sandoval, married to Joy Sandoval

• Steven Sandoval

• Matthew Sandoval, married to Alicia Sandoval

• Leslie Badilla, married to Steve Badilla

Irene also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was deeply committed to her faith and had complete trust in God, even when life was difficult. Irene lived by her spiritual values, demonstrating patience, love, and kindness to everyone she knew or met.

In addition to her family and her faith, Irene was devoted to many creative hobbies and passions. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, painting and ceramics, working on puzzles, and reading.

Irene will always be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. She will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held on October 20, at 11:00 AM at Dopkins Funeral Chapel at 189 South J Street, Dinuba. Burial will follow at Smith Mountain Cemetery located at 42088 Road 100 in Dinuba.
