A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Jose is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Mary Garza; his children Monica Serna, Joe Garza, Jr., Rachel Casas, and Henry Garza; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jose dedicated over 45 years of his life as a specialized auto mechanic. Known for his remarkable ability to fix just about anything, he was a true jack of all trades. His great sense of humor and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J Street, Dinuba, CA 93618. Additional visitation will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Saint Isidore the Farmer Church, 480 Adams Ave, Orange Cove, CA 93646. A rosary will follow from 11:30 AM at the same location. The funeral mass will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Smith Mountain Cemetery, 42088 Rd 100, Dinuba, CA 93618.
Serving as pallbearers are Joe Garza, Jr., Henry Garza, Ronnie Galvez, Eli Garza, Tyler Serna, Victor Casas, and Isaiah Galvez.
Jose’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
