Yesterday I thought of John all day on his birthday wishing we could go share a meal as we often did.  It’s hard to believe he is gone. I met him at Walmart where we crossed paths constantly. I remember he was basically the man that did everything. The entire store was spotless.  They called on him constantly and he took care of what ever it was.  I worked in the warehouse and remember the day gallons of milk spilled out onto the floor. No matter what it was, big or small, he made sure it was taken care of.  In the years following Walmart we remained friends. He came to my assistance many times. And most recently, he would bring me snacks and coffee while I was at work.  It was nice to see his friendly face and I appreciated his generous thought to think of me even though he was busy running errands.  It made my day.
                                                                                                                                                 Rest in peace John.   I know he is now with people he loved.
